August 8 LYONS TO BALDWINSVILLE

Nixon gets my vote he looks like an honest man today or maybe one of the other two in the picture.
We left Lyons on our way to Baldwinsville, many pretty little towns.
Clyde was one of them.
Each lock has a sign like this one giving details  about your location. Lock E26
The electric company should really not be using the foundation of this old building for it's base. It is going down.
We went across "Cross Lake" pretty little lake with some good boats.
It was nice to be on a little lake. I did not realize that the Erie Canal is made up of joining rivers and lakes that were already there.
Another pic of the lake.

Back in the canal.
We were fearful of the Elephant, but he turned out to be very friendly. He told us to watch out for the monkey.

Nice home after nice home, then of course there were some camping shacks.
Still no monkey
Coming into the town that we were going to stay in for the night.

Another nice home on the canal.
At Baldwinsville we had a free dock
with a $5 charge for electric.
Where are we? I think we are lost.
Ok, lets smile and act like we know what we are doing.
The boat is all snug for the night.
You can eat on a boat, Jennie pressure cooked a pork roast with potatoes and carrots. It was yummy.
Pretty sunset and the end of another perfect day.
