On our return trip to HHN (Herrington Harbor North) we sailed alongside this couple on their Skipjack. It was raining just a little. As you can see, they are dressed in their foul weather gear.
We ran along together for a little while.
It appears the guy on the fore deck is launching a depth charge. We decided to give him a little more space and get along for home port (HHN).
They did put up one of their sails trying to keep up with us.
Back home (HHN) the grounds are beautiful with many flowers in bloom. Day lilies in the foreground and knock out roses across the parking lot.
This is a fragrant dutch iris,
I thought these were beautiful.
Mast Confusion sits in the second slip on the right (K3) for any of you who may be coming to visit.
Not your usual boat launch area. Note, there are three marine lifts resting at the launch ramp. Tomorrow will be another busy day.
More Day lilies. Sorry, Mast Confusion is in this pic just not enough to tell that she is. Once again we are the second slip. We are next to the trawler behind the blue gray flowers.
Doug waiting on me as I shoot more pics of marine lifts and flowers.
The knock out roses are in their first round of glory.
Ok, enough pretty posies for tonight.
