Mast Confusion getting ready to head to Ohio

The lift is coming to haul-out Mast Confusion
 Out of the water.
 Up Higher
Mast Confusion is getting it's bottom washed.
The truck is here and coming to get into position.
The travel lift takes Mast Confusion to the trailer.
Then sets it down, it is amazing how close the trailer is to the ground.
The trucking company is from just across the creek.
More load on the trailer. Manufacture says that Mast Confusion should weight 13900, but it was almost 15000 without the mast, boom and arch.
The travel lift has released the weight and is moved away.
Mast Confusion does  not look all that big on the truck.
The truck is moved to pick up the mast, boom and arch.

The mast is on the trailer.
The operator, Paul is very competent and was padding everything.

There was adjusting that had to be done with the mast. Paul was not happy with the supporting and it had to be moved.
We moved it until he was happy. At that point I asked him if he needed any help and he said no. I asked him if he liked perch sandwichs and he said he loves it. So when he gets to Sandusky we will bring him one from  "The New Sandusky Fish Company".
On our way home we wondered if this was OZ.
We left Deale at 2:30 PM and arrived at Catawba Island at 10:30 PM. This was a boat that was going down route 53. It was an old wooden boat, maybe 60 foot long. The tractor pulling it was going backward.
Another pic, you can see Harbor Park sailboat sign on the left. This old thing was huge.

The mast is ready, pic shows how long the mast is
Harvest Moon over Herrington Harbour North
The new name of Mast Confusion.
Something looks sad when a sailboat does not have it's mast.
Looks bare

Mast Confusion is just Confusion now.

Mast Confusion is leaving Maryland on the 26th of September. She will be on a semi-truck from a company just across the creek.Today is the first of many steps. The mast must be removed.
One of the last pics that show the boat whole.
The Marina men come to get her to prepare for the operation.
We are heading down to the operating slip.
 The crane is waiting.
First the Stainless Steel Arch must be removed.
 Up and away.
They will put it behind the black fence to be picked up later.
Steve the rigger is going up with the crane.
He is attaching the loop on the mast. He does not have a safety line.
He just climbs down the rigging.

Up goes the mast, it was moved to a lot where we will prepare it to be put on the truck under the boat.
So Mast Confusion is just Confusion now.
In 11 days Confusion will be loaded for her trip north.
